Jesus is Enough! (Revised)

Jesus (His Unmerited Favor <Grace>, Salvation, Love, Mercy, Adoption…)

Is More Than Enough!

Do you know that you are important to Jesus <and His Father>?  Know with full assurance in your heart that Jesus <and the Father> knows you perfectly and yet accepts and loves you perfectly.  When you begin to understand that, you will realize that it is truly that unmerited favor <Grace>, that favor from Jesus that you know you do not deserve, did not merit and cannot earn for yourself, that will perfect every imperfection and weakness in your life.  If you are facing challenges, such as lack in any area, addictions, fears, sicknesses or broken relationships, Jesus’ unmerited favor will protect, deliver, bring restoration to and provide for you.  His unmerited favor will transform you into wholeness, and it is the goodness of God, not your striving and self-efforts, that will lead you to live victoriously for His glory.  [This paragraph is an excerpt from Introduction of Joseph Prince’s  book, “Unmerited Favor”.  Wonderful teaching!]

He Himself <The Lord God Almighty> gives life and breath to everything and He satisfied every need there is.

When Paul was traveling in Athens he observed one of the objects of their worship was an altar with the inscription, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.  Paul said, in Acts 17:23, that which they were worshiping was ignorance, and proclaimed to them:

24 The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 neither is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all life and breath and all things.”  Acts 17:24-25

God dwells in the saved human spirit!  He sent and dwelled in His Son, Jesus, here on earth.  Jesus was born of a virgin and the Holy Spirit.  Yes, if God can create man and the whole universe, He can put a child with His Spirit in the womb of a virgin!!!   Jesus died for all our sins, past, present, and future, so we can have eternal life with Him and freedom from sin and eternal death.  Jesus’ sacrifice gives us God’s complete pardon and unmerited favor <Grace>.  Jesus’ death was the final sacrifice.  When crucified on the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished.” and gave up His spirit in John 19:30.  This act completed and paid for all the laws and requirements of the old covenant and brought us under the new covenant of forgiveness and salvation through Jesus’ blood sacrifice.  Hallelujah [Praise the Lord]!

16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever <that’s everyone> believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  17For God did not send His Son into the world to judge [condemn] the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.John 3:16-17

If you believe in this Truth for yourself, you are saved.  The word believe here not only means to accept as truth, but that Truth convinces you to make it a part of your life.   Now, thank the Lord for forgiving all your sins and coming into your heart.  We are not saved by ‘repenting’ of sins.  We are saved by accepting Jesus as your Savior (believing John 3:16). He loves you and wants a relationship with us, not empty religion. You are now eternally forgiven and adopted into the Lord’s family.  You are Blessed!  You are now a son or daughter of the Most High God!  His Holy Spirit will come into your life and help you seek and learn from Him. Even when you don’t feel His presence, know that He loves and is with “you”. He will teach you and reveal Himself to you through His Word [Jesus/scriptures].

5Your life should be free from the love of money.  Be satisfied with what you have for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. 6Therefore, we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.  What can man do to me? Hebrews 13:5-6

Do you think you’ve sinned too many times to be saved?  His Grace is enough to redeem you, now. He will never leave you or forsake you.  Accept His Grace (free gift)–His pardon, unmerited favor, forgiveness, mercy, freedom from sin and death–His Salvation, love gift.  All we have to do is ‘believe’.  He does all the rest!

28Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires? 29Jesus answered, “The work of God is this, to believe in the One He has sent.” John 6:28-29 (NIV)

Ask Him (pray) to heal any unbelief you may feel.  Do not always trust your feelings.  Trust the Truth (Jesus).  His free gift of salvation is for all who accept it.  His shed blood on the cross covers all our sins, past, present, and future.  No, that is not an excuse for sin; but there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1).  God doesn’t remember our failures.  He doesn’t want us to be handicapped by those memories either!  Believe that Christ came to the Glory of God the Father and died for our sins.  <Amen!>

Are you struggling to overcome negative thoughts?  His Power is enough to transform. Even when we are saved we will have negative thoughts.  Don’t trust your feelings.  Don’t dwell on negative thoughts, soulish acts or feelings!  Renew your mind with God’s Truth–HIs Word <Jesus and the scriptures>. Worship Him with praise music.  Get fellowship with other like-minded, grace-filled, believers. Know that even though we are not perfect, God sees us with Jesus’ righteousness.  We are the righteousness of God in our spirits right now! Our sins are forgiven, past, present and future.  Allow the Holy Spirit to continually restore and transform you!

1Therefore brothers <us>, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.  Romans 12:1-2

21He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in HIm.  2 Corinthians 5:21

Your belief in Jesus and His sacrifice for you makes you holy and pleasing to God in your spirit, no works of your own–Jesus contained all the Mercies of God.  Allow His Holy Spirit to transform your soul (human mind, will, and emotions) into all He created it to be!   Be renewed through Him and His Truth.  This is a moment by moment process!   When you have negative thoughts replace them with His Truth.  Remember, “there is No Condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”  Romans 8:1  We who are saved are ‘In Christ”.   We and our sins were crucified with Christ–satisfying and removing “the law” of sin and death and bringing in the new covenant of love and forgiveness so we can live with God!   Yay!

19For through the law I have died to the law that I might live to God.  I have been crucified with Christ 20and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.  Gal 2:19-20

Are you overwhelmed by life’s difficulties?  His Love is enough to trust. He will never leave us or forsake us!

33I have told you these things so that in Me you may have ‘peace’.  You will have suffering in the world.  Be courageous!  I have conquered the world. John 16:33

Does the world seem to leave you empty?  His presence is enough to satisfy.

26But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My <Jesus’> name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I <Jesus> said to you. John 14:26
